Ronald Dean Heese of Kirkman, Iowa passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 in Harlan, Iowa attaining the age of 79 years, 8 months and 14 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aloysius and Amelia Heese; and siblings, Donna Murray and Ralph Heese. 

He is survived by his wife, Lois Heese of Kirkman, IA; children, Janlin Heese of Kirkman, IA, DeeAnn (Ryan) Newell of Ankeny, IA, Nicole (Anthony Behrens) Petersen of Harlan, IA; grandchildren, Ashley Petersen of Harlan, IA, Andrea Petersen of Harlan, IA, Abbie Petersen of Harlan, IA, Kennedy (Hursh) Maxiey of Belgrade, MT, Marlee Newell of Norwalk, IA, Rachel Newell of Bondurant, IA, and Casey (Josh) Mason of Chandler, AZ; great grandchildren, Jade Ransom of Harlan, IA, Addison Petersen of Harlan, IA, Slate Gitch of Harlan, IA Willow and Ellis of Chandler, AZ; other relatives and many friends.
