In Loving Memory of Kandy Max

Kandy Max was born on January 7, 1967, in Omaha, Nebraska, and passed away on October 28, 2026, in Harlan, Iowa.

Kandy moved to Harlan in the early 1990s, where she built her life and found a place she proudly called home.

Kandy was a devoted mother, grandmother, homemaker, and woman of faith. She was blessed with four children and ten grandchildren, who were the center of her world. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with her family and especially loved making memories with her grandchildren.

Kandy had a love for taking care of others, and one of the ways she showed that love was through cooking. She enjoyed preparing meals and bringing people together around the table. She also loved decorating for every holiday, making each season and celebration a little more special for the people around her.

Faith was an important part of Kandys life and she attended Church of Christ where she was baptized in 2004. Kandy carried her love for God with her and wasn’t shy about sharing her faith with others.

Kandy will be remembered for her love of family, her generous heart, her home-cooked meals, her holiday decorations, and the faith she shared with those around her. Above all, she will be deeply missed by the family and friends whose lives she touched.

Kandy’s greatest joy was her family, and the love she gave them will continue to live on through generations.
