Juan was born on August 20, 1971 to Margarito Morales (Grandpa) and Lorenza Morales (Mother). He was the third oldest of four children. He grew up in Penjamo, Guanajuato, Mexico. Here he attended elementary and middle school. Growing up Juan was always a very outgoing, adventurous kid. Always getting into trouble and overall just being a kid. For high school, Juan went to La Piedad, Michoacan, Mexico. After high school, he left for Mexico City to study electromechanical engineering. He completed his studies and found a passion in cars, trucks, and buses. His dream was to become a driver one day.
In 1996, he moved on to Los Angeles California. At this time, he was working different jobs. This was also where he met Yolanda Morales. In 1999, they got married. In 2000, they decided it was time to explore new places and moved to Denison, Iowa. Here they had been living happily, had three children, and had met some incredible friends for 26 years.
Juan worked hard on getting his GED. He always enjoyed learning new things. All while working at Tysons food plant. In Tyson he was working in the yard. This job was very dangerous. He was injured many times. When Tyson shut down, he decided to go back to school and get his HVAC degree and successfully graduated. He then went to work at Smithfield for some time. After Smithfield he decided it was time to be a Trucker. It has always been his passion and drive since he was younger.
In the last four years, Juan was truck driving. It was the best time of his life. He always enjoyed being on the road. Even when he was younger. For family vacation, or even visiting new locations, he would always drive to those destinations. He really had a passion for driving. Juan loved music. It's very hard to decide which song was his favorite because he had so many songs. He had a whole collection of CD’s with different types of genres. He enjoyed going to Los Bailes to dance and have a good time. He loved collecting classical cars, trucks, and buses. From time to time he also enjoyed guns as well. He always liked going to the shooting range.
Juan is survived by his wife, Yolanda Morales of Denison, IA; children, Jocelyn Morales (Juan Muñoz) of Dow City, IA; Juan Eduardo Morales, and Nataly Juliana Morales both of Denison; grandson, Giovanni Sebastian Muñoz; siblings, Maria Morales of Denison; Osvaldo Morales of Monterrey, Mexico.
