Thomas Lee Feser

Thomas Lee Feser was born to Jack and Betty (Schneider) Feser on August 8, 1959 in Harlan, Iowa. He attended grade school at St. Peter’s Catholic School in Defiance and went on to graduate from Harlan Community High School with the class of 1978.

After high school, Tom worked at Farmland in Denison. He was hospitalized at the age of 21 due to a motorcycle accident. During recovery, he moved home with his mom. He received care throughout the years at Country Care Center in Harlan, Iowa; Little Flower Haven in Earling, Iowa; Manilla Manor in Manilla, Iowa; and Eventide-Gracewell in Denison, Iowa. Some of Tom’s favorite hobbies included listening to music and riding his motorcycle.

Tom passed away peacefully at Eventide-Gracewell Nursing Home in Denison, Iowa on Saturday, March 15, 2025 attaining the age of 65 years, 7 months, and 7 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Betty Feser; step-father, Raymond Henkelman; brother, Dale Feser; step-sister, Debra Underwood and brother-in-law, Denny Anastasi.

He is survived by his siblings, Mary Ann Anastasi of Defiance, IA; Gary (Becky) Feser of Irwin, IA; sister-in-law, Lanae (late Dale) Feser of Waseca, MN; step-siblings, Gregory Henkelman, Gary (Christine) Henkelman, Ron (Celeste) Henkelman, and Bruce (Cynthia) Henkelman all of Lakeland, FL; niece & nephews; Jason Anastasi, Jared Anastasi, Joe Anastasi, Tara Jones.
