Marlene Yvonne Larsen passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Hansen House in Harlan, Iowa attaining the age of 90 years, 10 months, and 1 day. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johanna (Thomsen) and Clayton Mitten; husband of 72 years, Kenneth Larsen and siblings, Javaine Mitten, Joyce (Virgil) Christensen and Merlyn (Ada) Mitten.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Richard (Karen) Larsen of Santa Rosa, CA, Juliene Larsen of Garden City, ID, Reed Larsen of Kona, HI, and Jeanie (Michael) Maples of Castle Pines, CO; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; friends and other relatives.
