Larry Gaul passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 in Bennington, Nebraska attaining the age of 76 years, 4 months and 17 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Ferdinand Gaul and brothers, Dan Gaul and Walter "Wally" Gaul.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Gaul of Bennington, NE; children, Danelle (William) Lockwood of Bennington, NE, Robin (Adam) Hopkins of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Nyssa Lockwood and Damien Hopkins; siblings, Shirley Hauck of Omaha, NE; Jean (Daniel) Bieker of Harlan, IA; Ronald (Paula) Gaul of Harlan, IA; Carol (Jeffrey) Walton of Harlan, IA; Joan Gaul of Harlan, IA; Laurie Gilbert (Randy Blohm) of Audubon, IA; Marian (Clayton) Bretey of Harlan, IA; Lisa (Brooke) Coseboom of Palm Desert, CA; Janis (Timothy) Thompson of Omaha, NE; and Dave Gaul of Chillicothe, OH; sister-in-law, Debbie Gaul and Nancy Gaul; other relatives and many friends.
