Judy Arlene Summers

Judy Summers, daughter of Lister and Ercyle Brace, was born July 26, 1939 in Woodbine, Iowa. She graduated from Harlan High School with the class of 1957. Judy was united in marriage to Charles Summers, Sr. on October 2, 1960, and together they had two sons, Charlie Jr. and Matt. She worked many years at Jacobs Corporation before retiring in 2016.

Judy and Charles spent many years traveling to the Nascar races down in Talladega, AL. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, attending concerts with her friends and family, and watching her favorite sports teams, the Chiefs, Warriors, and Yankees.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Summers and sons, Charlie and Matt Summers.

She is survived by her granddaughters, Carly Summers of Waukee, IA, Stacy Christensen (Mike) of Harlan, IA, and Emilee Russell (Steven) of Omaha, NE; great-grandchildren, Avery, Jude, Sadie, Braxton, Leo, Mikey and Shawnie.
