He is survived by his son, Trevor Maack of Earling, IA; Trevor’s mother, Marla Blum of Denison, IA; stepchildren, Jared (Tina) Sharp of Boone, IA; Jill Pullen of Battle Creek, IA, Trisha (Brian) Stolte of Boone, IA; 6 step grandchildren; 1 great step grandchild, siblings, Duane Maack of Denison, IA; Denise Jones of Denison, IA; and Diane (William) Smith of Denison, IA.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Merlin and Ruth (Petersen) Maack and step son-in-law Jarad Pullen.
