Donald Eugene "Doc" Deatherage was born on March 27, 1930, in Hancock, Iowa, to William and Martha (Krueger) Deatherage. Doc died on Sunday, February 17, 2008, having attained the age of seventy-seven years, ten months, and twenty-one days.
Doc is survived by his sister, Mary Lou Emken, of Avoca, Iowa.
