Lois Dresen

February 14, 1933 - January 25, 2022

Lois Dresen, daughter of James and Rebecca Seidel Brown was born on February 14, 1933 in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Lois graduated from the Schuylkill Haven High School in Pennsylvania in 1951. After graduation Lois worked at the Schuylkill Haven High School until 1952. She then went to work at the Pennsylvania Military Dirstrict and worked there until 1955. On November 26, 1955 Lois married Lawrence Matthew Dresen in Schuylkill Haven Pennsylvania. After moving to Shelby county, Lois worked at the Shelby County Extension Service from 1958 to 1962, then worked at Shelby County Farmers Mutual Insurance Assn. Lois enjoyed bowling and reading, but her biggest love was her family. Spending time with her family was her favorite hobby. Lois died January 25, 2022 attaining the age of 88 years 11 months and 11 days. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry Dresen, her daughter LuAnn Gross, two grandsons Nathan Klein, and Nicholas Dresen, her siblings Wallace Brown, Mary Jane Moyer, Kathryn Burton, Joan Miller, Barry Brown. She is survived by her children Ron (Kathy) Dresen of Omaha, NE; Linda Klein of Earling, IA; Roger Dresen of Walnut, IA; Son-in-law Craig Gross of Earling, IA; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brother David (Jeannie) Brown.
